If You Want To Understand Why You Act The Way You Do As An Adult...

"If You Want To Understand Why You Act The Way You Do As An Adult, Remember The Way You Were Taught To Act As A Child." - David Julio Wang

Why don't people go out of their way to help each other at work as adults?
Because they were taught doing so is "cheating" when they were children, and this will deprive them of advancement in a world of pitiless competition , and winners and losers.

This is, of course, short-sighted and visionless thinking, for a species which is designed to survive and succeed by mutual cooperation and affection.

It's time adults stop teaching children to be little kings of their lonely hills , and start teaching children to be engineers collaborating on building communities.
