"You Can Save A Person From A Burning Building.
You Can Save A Person From A Raging River.
You Can Save A Person From Careening Off A Cliff.
You Can Save A Person From Anything,
If You Are Strong Enough." - David Julio Wang
In a world which emphasizes self-sufficiency and solving one's own problems, all under the mantle of "independence", the simple fact that sometimes people get so stuck they absolutely need the help of others to pull them out, becomes a mark of shame and weakness.
What do you believe?
I believe that when people are pulled out of their bad spot , loved, supported and given time to heal, they want to get going again and become an active contributor to society.
Leaving people in bad spots is the mark of an immature society.
